The successful candidate will provide high-quality secretarial and administrative assistance to solicitors and fee earners handling various personal injury matters, including road traffic accidents, employers’ liability, and public liability claims. Key Responsibilities: * Prepare and format legal documents, correspondence, and court forms from audio dictation or written instructions. * Manage diaries, book appointments, schedule meetings, and arrange conferences with clients and counsel. * Open, maintain, and close client files in line with regulatory and internal procedures. * Liaise with clients, experts, insurers, and other third parties in a professional and courteous manner. * File and manage incoming/outgoing post and emails, ensuring prompt action is taken. * Process legal expenses and invoices, and assist with billing. * Maintain confidentiality and compliance with data protection and firm policies. * Provide general administrative support, including photocopying, scanning, and filing. Key Requirements: * Previous experience as a legal secretary, ideally in a personal injury or litigation environment. * Excellent typing skills (audio and copy), with strong accuracy and attention to detail. * Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and legal case management systems. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. * Strong organisational and time management skills. * Professional, friendly, and client-focused manner
