Responsibilities
* You’ll play a key role in supporting and evolving our IT services, ensuring our colleagues can deliver high-quality care efficiently and securely.
* As an IT Technical Solutions Engineer, you will deliver expert-level technical solutions across server infrastructure, networking, end-user computing, and security domains.
* You’ll work with the Locala IT Service Team to provide advanced third-line support for complex incidents, acting as the technical escalation point to ensure timely resolution.
* Your role will involve leading and contributing to both IT and business-driven projects, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, and supportable.
* You’ll drive the responsible adoption and integration of AI technologies, developing strategy and identifying use cases to ensure ethical, secure, and value-driven deployment.
* You’ll support annual IT governance activities, including risk assessments, security reviews, and compliance with standards such as Cyber Essentials Plus.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in IT infrastructure, networking, end-user computing, and cyber security.
* Strong technical leadership and problem-solving skills, with a track record of supporting and delivering IT projects in complex environments.
* Ability to communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Experience with AI technologies and their ethical, secure deployment is highly desirable.
* Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and governance processes.
* Commitment to continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence.

* Salary: £47,810 - £54,710
* Hours: 37.5 per week
* Contract: Permanent
