The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for a Packer based in Hersham. This is a temporary role for 1 to 2 weeks, with an immediate start available.
Working hours are 7.30am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday.
This role is working within a plant nursery wholesaler, supporting with planting and preparing plants for distribution. You will be working in a greenhouse environment, where temperatures can be high.
The work is hands-on and repetitive, involving regular bending and standing throughout the day.
Due to the location, you must be a driver.
Overtime may be available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planting of plants and nursery stock
* Pack and prepare plants ready for dispatch
* Move and organise plants within the greenhouse
* Support general nursery and production tasks
* Maintain clean and tidy working areas
* Follow instructions to complete tasks efficiently
Requirements
* Previous packing, warehouse, or outdoor work experience preferred
* Must be a driver due to location
* Comfortable working in a warm greenhouse environment
* Able to carry out repetitive tasks and regular bending
* Reliable and available for the full duration
* Physically fit and able to work on your feet
