About The Role
Join the BCG Regional Maintenance Team and play a crucial part in maintaining high-quality care within our care homes.
As a Regional Plumber, you’ll be responsible for delivering plumbing maintenance and refurbishment projects across a portfolio of care homes across Scotland. You’ll ensure that all work is completed on time, within budget, and complies with care home regulations and quality standards. The role involves managing plumbing installations, repairs, and refurbishments, ensuring minimal disruption to residents and staff while maintaining operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities Include
* Delivering plumbing maintenance and refurbishment projects across our Homes.
* Ensuring all work complies with legislative and regulatory requirements.
* Minimising disruption to residents, staff, and daily care operations during plumbing activities.
* Maintaining the company’s quality standards on all completed work.
* Staying updated on relevant regulations affecting care homes, ensuring all plumbing work complies with these requirements.
About You
We’re looking for someone with:
* Proven experience in plumbing, ideally within refurbishment, construction, or facilities management.
* Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and plumbing codes.
* A practical understanding of care home operations and the challenges they face in maintaining a safe, comfortable, and functional environment.
* Experience within the healthcare industry or construction sector would be advantageous.
You’ll be proactive, hands-on, and able to work independently while ensuring that operational needs are met in a timely and effective manner.
