At this exciting time, we are seeking an outstanding Technical Services Manager who is responsible for providing technical leadership and operational management of all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) services and integrated security systems across the Southbank Centre. This includes ensuring that all MEP infrastructure and specialised security assets - including Fire Alarms, Intruder Alarms, Turbonet and CCTV - meet the highest professional standards, fully comply with statutory requirements and maintenance protocols, and support the Centre’s mission, operations, and visitor safety.
We are looking for a Technical Services Manager who will play a vital role in keeping the Southbank Centre safe, resilient and future‑ready. This is a leadership role for someone who thrives on responsibility, collaboration and problem‑solving, someone who understands that excellence in technical services enables extraordinary artistic experiences to happen.
At the Southbank Centre, technical expertise goes hand in hand with creativity, sustainability and inclusion. You’ll be trusted to lead critical building systems, support major events and capital projects, and contribute to long‑term environmental and operational strategy, all while working alongside passionate colleagues who care deeply about what we do and why we do it.
