We are currently seeking experienced Vehicle Mechanics to join our dynamic team at our Bovington site in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire.
Your Role
As a Vehicle Mechanic at Babcock International, you will:
* Support the maintenance and repair of equipment and vehicles for our defence customers.
* Perform servicing, maintenance, repairs, and modifications with precision and expertise.
* Inspect and diagnose faults in both civilian and military vehicles.
* Repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in line with your skills and competencies.
* Conduct equipment examinations to meet production requirements.

What Do You Need?
To be successful in this role, you should have:
* Previous experience in a similar role (essential)
* NVQ Level 3 in Service and Repair or an equivalent qualification (essential)
* Proficiency in hydraulics (required)
* Experience working in a dealership or local garage (advantageous)
* A strong team player attitude with the ability to adapt and build rapport
* The ability to achieve and maintain SC security clearance
Please note that this position involves manual work, which may include lifting, bending, using tools, or standing for extended periods. The successful candidate will need to pass a targeted medical questionnaire and/or medical examination as a condition of employment.
