Hours: Working hours are 8 hours per day, shift patterns and flexibility will be discussed during the interview. The provision of the contract is between 08:00 and 22:00.

Candidates are required to have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle for the purposes of undertaking the requirements of this role.
Nacro is a national Social Justice Charity with more than 50 years' experience of changing lives, building stronger communities, and working with stakeholders towards reducing crime.
Nacro delivers the Community Accommodation Support service (CAS), a national service across England and Wales. The service supports Courts in making greater use of bail through accommodation in the community with support for adult defendants who could not otherwise be bailed. CAS also supports adults released from custody in the last three months of their sentence on Home Detention Curfew (HDC) and other Licence Orders.
The team provides flexible and holistic support to residents with diverse needs, aiming to help them find and maintain stable housing at the end of their CAS-2 placement. You will manage a caseload of residents and properties in your area.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Support clients to comply with HDC/Bail conditions.
* Create realistic, achievable support plans that include accessing housing and accommodation services to facilitate move-on to longer-term housing.
* Ensure all support plans and risk assessments are person-centered, inclusive, and tailored to individual needs.
* Provide weekly support to residents to engage with their support plans and work towards their objectives and aspirations.
* Assist residents in accessing Housing Benefit to prevent rent arrears and potential tenancy issues.
* Manage properties within your responsibility, ensuring maintenance to Decent Homes Standard, reporting repairs, and replacing furniture and equipment as needed.
* Undertake basic cleaning tasks as required.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver effective, person-centered support and safety plans.
* Provide up to 2 hours of weekly support sessions to help residents achieve their goals.
* Maintain accurate, up-to-date resident records.
* Support residents with Housing Benefit applications.
* Refer residents to specialist support agencies as needed.
* Liaise with partner agencies such as Probation, Prison Services, Courts, and Police.
* Ensure properties are well-equipped, maintained, furnished, and clean.
* Empower and motivate residents to achieve their desired outcomes.
* Develop move-on plans with residents early on, identifying realistic future housing options.
What We Expect From You
* Ability to develop person-centered support and move-on plans.
* Understanding of safeguarding procedures.
* Experience working with vulnerable adults with complex needs (substance misuse, health issues, mental health, employment, and housing support).
* Flexibility to travel within your area for training and meetings, and cover other patches as required.
* Familiarity with computer-based packages.
