This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and friendly team, providing secretarial and administrative support within a busy Family Law department.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to fee earners in the Family Law team
* Preparing, drafting, and formatting a wide range of legal correspondence, court documents, and forms
* Managing diaries, appointments, and court dates to ensure deadlines are met
* Handling telephone and email enquiries, ensuring clients are supported with empathy and professionalism
* Maintaining and updating case management systems and legal files
* Liaising with clients, courts, and third parties in a confidential and efficient manner
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience as a Legal Secretary (experience in Family Law is highly desirable)
* Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload
* Excellent IT skills, including MS Office and case management systems
* A high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality
* Professional communication skills with a client-focused approach
