We have an exciting role on offer within our Public Health service as a Caseworker.
About Us
Working as part of Middlesbrough Council, Recovery Solutions is a dedicated service supporting individuals with substance use issues. We work with people at all stages of their recovery journey, helping to reduce harm, promote resilience, and support long-term positive change.
We are currently recruiting for a Caseworker to join our Entry into Service team in a unique mental health in-reach role. This post offers a rewarding opportunity to work with Roseberry park, helping individuals experiencing both mental health challenges and substance use issues.
As a Caseworker, you will provide comprehensive, person-centred support from initial engagement through to recovery. You will carry out assessments, develop and implement recovery plans, facilitate referrals to other services, and conduct regular care reviews. You’ll work flexibly and collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure clients receive the right support at the right time.
Key Responsibilities
Support clients with complex needs including mental health, homelessness, domestic abuse, and offending behaviour.
Deliver trauma-informed, strengths-based interventions to reduce harm and promote recovery.
Work closely with mental health professionals, our in-house clinical team and other partner agencies to ensure seamless care.
Maintain accurate records and manage a caseload of clients effectively.
We’re looking for someone who is compassionate, resilient, and committed to making a difference. You’ll need experience working with vulnerable individuals, ideally in a substance use or mental health setting, and a strong understanding of trauma-informed practice.
If this is you, this may be the opportunity you are looking for!
