The Role
As
Head of Commercial Sales, you will lead the development and execution of the organisation’s commercial strategy across multiple business lines. You will oversee the full sales lifecycle from market identification and tendering to negotiation and contract closure while building long‑term relationships with senior clients, partners, and stakeholders.
You will collaborate closely with Operations, Finance, Marketing, and People teams to ensure commercial success, and provide data‑driven insight to the SLT and Board.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and deliver commercial strategy
across all service lines. Lead and performance‑manage
a high‑performing commercial sales team. Identify new markets and partnerships
to drive sustainable growth. Oversee the full sales pipeline
including forecasting, tendering, bidding, and contract negotiation. Build senior‑level client relationships
and secure long‑term commercial agreements. Provide data‑driven insight
to SLT and Board, including risk analysis and growth recommendations. Collaborate cross‑functionally
to ensure commercial alignment across the organisation.
About You Senior B2B sales leadership
with a track record of delivering year‑on‑year commercial growth. Experience leading complex bids
and cross‑functional commercial programmes. High‑value negotiation expertise
and senior client relationship management. Strong financial acumen
including forecasting, pricing, and margin analysis. Knowledge of tendering and procurement
across public and private sectors. Data‑driven approach
with CRM and performance reporting capability. Full UK driving licence required.
