Crane Operator MK-140 Mobile Tower Crane Location: North Wales (with projects across North Wales and the North West) Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: £20-£25 per hour, 8.5 hours a day with overtime available A well-established contractor in the external works and construction sector is seeking an experienced Crane Operator to operate a Liebherr MK-140 mobile tower crane across a variety of sites. This role offers the opportunity to work with modern equipment on high-profile projects, supported by a collaborative and safety-driven team. Key Responsibilities: Operate the MK-140 mobile tower crane in line with manufacturer guidelines and project-specific lift plans Carry out daily inspections and basic maintenance checks Work closely with lift supervisors, slinger/signallers, and site managers to ensure safe and efficient lifting operations Assist with crane setup, rigging, and dismantling as required Maintain accurate records of lifts, inspections, and maintenance activities Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and reporting procedures Requirements: CPCS Blue Card - A60 (Mobile Crane) and/or A04 (Tower Crane) Proven experience operating the MK-140 or similar mobile tower cranes Sound understanding of lift planning, risk assessments, and safe working practices Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team Flexibility to work across multiple sites, including occasional overtime Full UK driving licence preferred Desirable: Additional lifting-related qualifications (e.g. Slinger/Signaller, Appointed Person) Experience with remote-control crane operations What's on Offer: Competitive salary with overtime opportunities Ongoing training and certification support Opportunities for development within a growing business Supportive and safety-focused working environment
