About the role As the EV Charging Geospatial Analyst at Believ, you will play a key role in identifying, assessing, and prioritising locations for public and private sector EV chargepoint deployments. Working closely with the Senior Commercial Analyst, you will support the delivery of winning tenders and ensure that the proposed sites meet long-term commercial viability targets. Your core responsibilities will include conducting location analysis, geospatial modelling, and data-driven assessment of potential sites. You will work collaboratively with the tenders, property, and planning teams to ensure sites are selected using robust analytical tools and aligned with demand forecasts and strategic deployment goals. MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Location Strategy & Deployment Planning: Carry out site identification and assessment for both public and private sector tenders, ensuring selected sites are commercially viable, well-located, and support the long-term utilisation of the EV network. Maintain and improve GIS-based tools used for demand modelling and utilisation forecasting, ensuring up-to-date integration of key datasets such as EV uptake forecasts, demographic trends, existing infrastructure, and traffic or parking data. Support bid managers with high-quality geospatial analysis to inform site proposals and strengthen the commercial case within tenders, particularly during bid/no-bid and review stages. Assist the Property Team in evaluating private-sector site opportunities using structured geospatial analysis and provide insight into location viability. Provide geospatial support to the wider business including account managers, planners, and commercial leads to ensure consistent, evidence-led decision-making. Innovation & Development: Contribute to the continuous development of internal location assessment tools, methodologies, and datasets to enhance site selection processes. Collaborate with the Senior Commercial Analyst and planning team to improve rollout efficiency through enhanced GIS insights and deployment prioritisation. Conduct ad-hoc research and geospatial data projects to support tenders, commercial reviews, and EV market insights. Knowledge Sharing & Collaboration: Apply your expertise in GIS, transport planning, and local authority policy to support cross-functional teams. Deliver training or guidance on GIS tools and site analysis techniques to internal stakeholders.
