A client Secondary school of Teaching Personnel in Wigan is seeking to recruit a Maths Graduate in preparation for the new academic year in September.
Position Details:
* Pay in line with previous experiences: £85 – £100 per day.
* 12-month temporary position starting in the new academic year.
* Located in Wigan, accessible via the M61.
The Head of Maths would like to appoint a Maths graduate to work within the school's Maths department during the new academic year starting in September. You will be employed on a temporary basis for 12 months. This is an excellent opportunity for you to gain valuable experience working in a Secondary school setting, developing key skills before pursuing further training or qualifications in teaching.
Role Description:
* Working alongside teaching staff within the Maths department.
* Planning and preparing lessons, and providing support to the class teacher during class.
* Supporting the learning of students who require additional guidance during lessons.
* Working with small groups of identified pupils to raise attainment in Mathematics.
The school is of average size with approximately 1030 pupils on roll and was graded 'Good' across the board in their most recent Ofsted inspection. Located in Wigan, this school is easily accessible via public transport from the surrounding areas, including Salford, Bury, Chorley, and Manchester.
