About us
We are currently eight schools: three special needs schools, four secondaries and one primary school, all local to the Farnham, Haslemere and Woking areas. As a Trust, we are very positive about the difference we are making. Our schools are a force for good within their respective communities, delivering positive outcomes as reflected across the measures of Ofsted, Progress 8 and national attainment measures. Our finances are strong, despite funding challenges, and our estates are well maintained with a regular programme of innovative capital works taking place across all our schools. We are the largest employer in the area and therefore have a responsibility to our staff to ensure they are looked after and enjoy being part of our organisation.
The Trust is at an exciting point in its development as we move into a new phase of growth, with a further five schools joining the Trust from September 2024, including two specialist schools.
The role
We are looking for someone who will lead the Trust in the strategic direction of people and culture. The concept of Flow Working, empowering colleagues to engage positively in their work – whether that be at the front of a classroom or supporting administratively/operationally – sits at the heart of our vision for this new role within our Trust.
We anticipate that the successful candidate will work alongside the Director of Finance and the Chief Operating Officer to ensure the Trust provides an outstanding education experience for all our students and staff.
The most important part of our organisation is our people and the inspirational culture within which we work. Therefore, we are seeking a professional who will not only have attention to the Trust functions but also be looking to develop systems and a culture that allows people to thrive whilst supporting our Trust ambition to be the education employer of choice in the local area.
What we can offer you
As a trust, we are committed to creating a supportive and inclusive environment where every member of our team can thrive and contribute to our shared goals. We offer a vast range of benefits, including:
* Hybrid working opportunities
* Membership of the LGPS or TPS pension schemes with 22% (LGPS) and 28% (TPS) employer contributions
* Access to our rewards scheme
* Additional two-day wellbeing weekend in November
