What You’ll Be Doing:
• Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and routines
• Working 1:1 and in small groups to support literacy, numeracy and phonics
• Supporting pupils with additional learning needs or those who require extra encouragement
• Assisting with classroom organisation, learning resources and displays
• Promoting positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing and pupil confidence
• Helping with enrichment activities and wider school initiatives
Ideal Graduate Teaching Assistant For This Tower Hamlets School:
• A recent graduate with strong academic credentials and a clear passion for education
• Friendly, proactive, and confident working with primary-aged children
• Excellent communicator with a calm and supportive attitude
• Experience working with children (e.g. tutoring, mentoring, volunteering, childcare) is a plus
