About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for warehouse operatives to join Booker on a permanent contract with a 16-week probationary period. Colleagues will be required to work an average of 38 hours per week.
We are currently looking for experienced HRT (High Reach Truck) drivers with current D1 or D2 licences.
The available rota is:
* Sunday
* Monday
* Tuesday
* Wednesday
* Thursday
* Friday
* Saturday
Shift times:
* 06.00-18.00
* 06.00-14.00
* RO
* RO
* RO
* 06.00-16.00
* 06.00-14.00
Additional shift details:
* 12 hours
* 8 hours
* 10 hours
* 8 hours

Responsibilities:
* Receive, pick, and load goods correctly according to safety standards and work instructions.
* Operate all manual and mechanical handling equipment safely to prevent damage and accidents.
* Perform daily pre-equipment checks and report faults.
* Report any dangerous conditions or irregularities immediately.
* Assist with paperwork and documentation as required.
* Manage damaged stock and participate in training as needed.
* Perform other duties as necessary to meet business demands.
Requirements:
Experienced HRT drivers with current D1 or D2 licences. Flexibility, teamwork, self-motivation, and a professional attitude are essential. Proven warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines is important.
Note: Prior to employment, a drug and alcohol test must be successfully completed.
