We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Global Amazon Advertising Manager to lead and scale our Amazon advertising strategy across the UK, Europe, and North America.
This is a high-impact role responsible for managing multi-million-pound annual advertising budgets, driving profitable growth across Amazon marketplaces, and leading a small but highly capable in-house team. Working closely with senior leadership, marketing, and our sales teams, you will shape the global Amazon media strategy and ensure best-in-class execution across Sponsored Ads, DSP, and emerging Amazon advertising solutions.
The role is hybrid, with regular time spent at our headquarters in Rochdale, alongside flexibility for remote working.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
* Develop and execute a global Amazon advertising strategy across UK, EU and US marketplaces.
* Manage seven-figure annual advertising budgets, ensuring maximum return on investment and efficient budget allocation.
* Identify growth opportunities across product categories, brands and international markets.
* Lead annual planning, forecasting and performance target setting.
Campaign Management
* Oversee Amazon Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display and Amazon DSP activity.
* Drive campaign optimisation through audience targeting, bid management, keyword strategy and creative testing.
* Implement advanced measurement frameworks to improve attribution and decision-making.
* Monitor market trends, competitor activity and Amazon platform developments.
* Manage, mentor and develop a small team of Amazon advertising specialists.
* Establish clear KPIs, performance expectations and development plans.
* Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and innovation.
Commercial & Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Partner with eCommerce, Marketing, Sales and Brand teams to align advertising activity with wider business objectives.
* Work closely with international stakeholders to ensure consistency and best practice across regions.
* Present performance insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
Analytics & Reporting
* Own reporting across all Amazon advertising channels and territories.
* Deliver actionable insights on performance, profitability, customer acquisition and market share.
* Utilise Amazon Marketing Cloud, DSP reporting and third-party tools where appropriate.
About You
* 2+ years experience managing Amazon advertising at scale.
* Proven success managing seven-figure annual advertising budgets across multiple international marketplaces.
* Strong experience across Amazon Sponsored Ads and Amazon DSP.
* Experience leading and developing a team.
* Deep understanding of Amazons advertising ecosystem, retail media and marketplace dynamics.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn complex data into commercial recommendations.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Experience within FMCG, automotive, consumer goods or high-volume eCommerce environments.
* Knowledge of Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC).
* Experience working across both Vendor Central and Seller Central environments.
* Familiarity with Xnurta, Pacvue, Perpetua or similar advertising technology platforms.
