ECommerce Trading Manager - Brands - 12 Month FTC Job Description The eCommerce Brands team are on the lookout for an eCommerce Trading Manager to join and be at the forefront of our UK growth. Based at Head Office in Leicestershire, offering a competitive salary alongside great benefits. This position is a 12 Month FTC (maternity cover). The UK Trading team fuels UK growth by optimising online product sales on Next.co.uk across Womenswear, Menswear, Childrenswear and Home. They drive exciting product launches and strategic promotions to maximise sales and brand visibility. The role As a Trading Manager in the Brands team, you will own the Lipsy and Wholly Owned Brands (WOB) category and be the key contact within eCommerce for the Product Teams. You will make changes to drive forward traffic and conversion and you will be at the forefront of shaping the customer experience, collaborating with creative marketing teams to bring fresh product launches and exciting marketing opportunities to life. You’ll have the chance to champion Lipsy and our Wholly Owned Brands (WOB), ensuring they’re seamlessly integrated into campaigns that speak to our entire womenswear customer base. You’ll be responsible for spotting unique, targeted marketing opportunities that will elevate brand visibility and engagement. By weaving Lipsy and WOB into larger womenswear campaigns and key marketing moments, you’ll play a key role in driving success across the business. What else is involved? Onsite • Review sales to identify opportunities for onsite and marketing (largest categories, growing or decline categories and item best sellers) • Review sales and funnel metrics, and make (& suggest) changes to the website to improve traffic & conversion; Item titles, Imagery, Product groupings (colourways & tabs), Descriptions, Key features & Search results & search banners • Own the navigation (adding links to support launches) • Own search banners & search recall for Lipsy & WOB • Review SEO ranking and make improvements to improve organic traffic (additional content, item titles, copy, search banners etc) • Ensure Lipsy & WOB are considered when building out new developments • Own RIO (commercial QA checks). Adding in commercial QA checks and rules. Chase through a resolve to live issues. • Engage with the product teams to share any opportunities that sit with them to action. Marketing • Review and deliver customer targeting opportunities e.g. Lipsy have a new ‘premium knitwear’ range launching so we should look to market to womenswear customers with a propensity for ‘premium knitwear’ • Coordinate and deliver marketing for new launches & trade peaks (onsite and via owned channels) • Own next adverts for Lipsy & WOB, expanding advert volume • Liaise with the creative marketing team to ensure you have assets required to support marketing activity • Share wider womenswear marketing campaigns with Lipsy to agree where they could and should be involved • Review traffic mix, growth and declines. Suggest opportunities to drive traffic (working closely with the paid marketing teams) You’ll be doing all this from our Leicestershire Head Office. Our offices are inspiring, yes.
