About the role
This role is a balance of hands-on testing, thoughtful automation, and continuous collaboration with the wider team. Your input will guide how we test, what we automate, and how we continuously improve quality at scale.

This role is NOT for you if:
* You need to be told what to test and when.
* You prefer working in isolation from the wider function.
* You get overwhelmed when workloads spike.
* You see QA as just “bug-hunting”.
What you need to know
Must haves:
* Manual Testing: Web apps, cross-browser.
* Automation: Cypress.
* Tools: GitHub Actions, Jira, Sentry, CI.
* Process: QA workflows, defect tracking.
* Communication: Works well with devs and product.
* Experience: 2+ years in QA/testing.
Nice to haves:
Agile/Scrum experience, ISTQB certification, and familiarity with tools like TablePlus.

2. Technical Interview
You'll participate in a technical interview, lasting approx. 1 hour, to delve deepinto your technical knowledge, interpersonal skills, and problem-solving ability.
Think about some of the projects you've worked on, what challenging or complex situationshave you encountered? We'll be wanting to understand your working style and approach, and how you've worked with others.
3. Working Together
We'll give you a real ticket from our backlog — along with the context we’d typically provide.Your job is to walk us through how you’d approach testing it.There’s no right answer — we’re interested in the questions you ask, the information you look for, and how you’d begin developing a test plan.The more structured your thinking, the better we can understand how you work.
