Essential Functions

Presales Engineers work together with the assigned Account/Sales Team by providing expertise in the following areas:
• Work closely with sales as a consultant to understand customers and prospect’s technical needs related to a specific market or specific product.
• Perform consultative selling of optimum support and system solutions.
• Manage and evolve a comprehensive technology collaboration and support.
• Participate in customer evaluations and proof of concepts for deploying test systems.
• Plan, conduct and direct projects to support sales efforts and address future customer needs. Project plan includes costs, staffing, technical leadership and project evaluation.
• Keep apprised of all new product features and fixes.

Job Requirements

1. Minimum of 15 years of success in the tech industry; deep knowledge of NetApp solutions a strong advantage.
2. Expert in data storage, management, security, and hybrid/public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
3. Skilled at turning complex technical topics into clear, persuasive presentations for any audience.
4. Proven track record in commercial prospecting and leading account portfolios as a technical orchestrator.
5. Sharp listener—quick to decode client needs, even when not clearly expressed.
6. Creative problem-solver, passionate about innovation and tech trends like AI and cybersecurity.
7. True team player, thriving in collaborative, cross-functional environments.
8. Exceptional communicator in both French (native) and English—written and spoken.
9. Ready and willing to travel nationally and internationally as needed
