Access Talent Group are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Waste Water Hydraulic Modeller for an office in Scotland. You will be part of a growing Urban Drainage and network modelling team working on Utilities networks for a number of water companies’ frameworks. You will work in a collaborative team at the forefront of digital engineering and Smart machine applications.
Responsibilities
* Construct, verify, and maintain various levels of wastewater models.
* Deliver feasibility studies, model use studies, optioneering, and development assessments for wastewater networks.
* Ensure quality of modelling outputs and compliance with standards, specifications, and governance requirements.
* Project management of small projects.
* Maintain strong and collaborative working relationships and interactions with clients.
* Cooperate and communicate effectively with other team members to provide technical support and assistance.
* Operate in accordance with the corporate health and safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Qualifications
* 7 years in the modelling sector
* Experience modelling from either a consultancy or water company
* Degree qualification in Civil Engineering or a relevant subject area
* Not essential but advantageous to be Chartered with CIWEM
* Working knowledge of GIS Systems (preferably MapInfo, ArcGIS, QGIS)
* Skilled in the manipulation and handling of large datasets
* Demonstrable experience in discipline-specific data analysis packages (water-focused such as InfoWorks or InfoAsset)
* Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
* Hybrid working 3 days a week in the office
