HR People and Business Partner Truro | Salary dependent on experience | Monday to Friday | 6-month contract | Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for an experienced HR People and Organisational Development Partner to join a respected organisation in Truro. This is a senior-level leadership role, offering a unique opportunity to shape people strategy, lead transformation, and support the development of high-performing teams. You will act as the lead specialist across People Strategy, Organisational Development (OD), Employee Relations (ER), Recruitment, Retention, and Learning & Development. Key Duties: Lead the delivery of the People and OD strategy within your designated area. Provide expert advice across all HR, OD, and employee relations matters. Manage complex ER cases including performance management, grievances, and tribunal matters. Drive workforce planning, organisational design, and talent development initiatives. Support business transformation through effective change and project leadership. Coach and advise senior leaders and managers on people management and leadership. Ensure compliance with employment legislation, organisational policies, and national standards. Requirements: Essential: Chartered MCIPD or equivalent HR/OD qualification or significant experience. Proven experience in HR, OD, and workforce planning within a complex, unionised environment. Strong expertise in employee relations and organisational change. Exceptional influencing, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to interpret and apply employment legislation strategically. Desirable: Experience working within large, multifaceted organisations. Strong understanding of TUPE regulations. Coaching or mediation qualifications highly beneficial.
