The Role:
We’re looking for a Senior Solicitor to join our Commercial Property team at our new offices in Wigan.
Perhaps you are local and have had enough of the commute into Manchester/Liverpool? Perhaps youre working every hour god sends for one of the larger firms and looking to work for a top regional practice, who actually appreciates your hard work?
Ideally youll be 6+ years PQE, although what is important is that you are comfortable with clients and competent in your role, so we can be flexible for the right person.
Your experience should cover:
* Drafting and negotiating commercial leases
* Managing acquisitions and disposals of commercial property
* Handling secured lending and property finance transactions
* Assisting with the property elements of corporate transactions
* Providing practical and tailored legal solutions to assist our clients’ commercial objectives
Whats most important is that you are someone who wants to work within our firm - a people focused culture, with ambition, but one where youll feel an important part of the team rather than just a number.
Ideally a more senior person applying for this role will be comfortable in harnessing their referrer network to help develop business, but this isnt a prerequisite. Some experience of managing a team would also be of particular interest.
