About your new Workshop Small Tools Fitter role
: Cleaning and maintaining the presentation of all electrical equipment
: Inspecting and testing returning hire equipment
: Conducting PAT testing in line with regulations
: Repairing and servicing a variety of electrical tools and lighting systems
: Supporting and training members of the Electrical team
: Helping the Electrical team achieve their KPIs in both quality and productivity
: Taking an active role in stock control and ensuring correct parts usage
: Overseeing the day:to:day management of the Electrical team
What you'll need to succeed for this Workshop Small Tools Fitter role
: Proven experience maintaining and repairing a range of electrical tools and equipment
: Hands:on experience with lighting systems battery, 110V, and 240V small tools)
: Strong understanding of PAT testing and electrical safety standards
: Ability to fault:find and repair electrical equipment efficiently
: Previous supervisory experience
: Strong communication and teamwork skills
: NVQ or similar qualification in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
: Exposure to Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives
: Willingness to learn and develop new skills
