This is a varied, hands-on role for someone who thrives in both reactive drainage work and planned small civils projects. You’ll be working across a mix of emergency callouts and scheduled works, including: Responding to reactive drainage issues (blockages, backups, faults) High-pressure water jetting and drain clearance – internal & external CCTV surveys and fault diagnosis Minor dig-ups & repairs carrying out small excavations and small civils works No-dig localised liner installation and inversion liners Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard Providing an exceptional standard of customer service and technical expertise Accurately recording work/job details via a range of bespoke internal/client systems and applications Communicate effectively with high profile commercial and domestic clients and Metro Rod Support Centre colleagues to ensure excellent customer service is provided at all times. What experience do we look for? Proven experience in reactive drainage and civils/drainage repairs Strong knowledge of drainage systems and fault finding Experience with excavation and reinstatement works Confident working independently and as part of a team Full UK driving licence (essential) Streetworks (NRSWA) and/or medium risk confined space (desirable).
