Senior Full Stack Engineer at Informed Solutions (via hackajob)

Role Responsibilities
* Own delivery of services: engineer and deliver small-to-medium services (or major components) across full lifecycle from design to deployment, operation, and continual improvement.
* Lead on architecture and design: own end-to-end design of components, produce high-quality documentation, and collaborate to translate designs into robust implementations.
* Support delivery planning: partner with Delivery Managers to plan technical activities, provide accurate estimates, and identify/mitigate risks and dependencies.
* Build stakeholder trust: act as a trusted technical advisor to client counterparts and partner organisations, ensuring alignment between business needs and technical delivery.
* Mentor and develop others: provide technical leadership, support professional growth, and enable high-quality, efficient delivery.
Requirements
Essential Skills
* 5+ years’ Full Stack Engineering experience with advanced skills in .NET, Java or Python, plus modern JavaScript libraries.
* Experience delivering services or significant components across the full lifecycle.
* Strong understanding of architectural/design patterns (including serverless and microservices) and ability to lead their application.
* Experience in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban) with TDD and contributing to delivery planning and estimation.
* Mentoring and supporting engineers to enable high-quality delivery.
* Proven client engagement experience and ability to own technical decisions and outcomes.
* Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) delivering scalable, secure solutions.
* Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Terraform).
Desirable Skills
* Experience in a consultancy environment; exposure to public sector projects and complex organisational landscapes.
