We are a friendly, forward-thinking GP practice seeking an enthusiastic Practice Nurse to join our established primary care team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment focused on delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.
Key Responsibilities
* Chronic disease management (e.g. asthma, COPD, diabetes and heart failure)
* Cervical cytology
* Travel consultations
* Immunisations and vaccinations including childhood and travel
* Wound care, dressings, and removal of sutures/clips
* Compression bandaging
* Dopplers
* INR clinics
* ECGs
* Venepuncture
* Health promotion and lifestyle advice
* Infection prevention and control
* Support of QOF, enhanced services, and long-term condition reviews
* Accurate clinical documentation using clinical systems- SystmOne
Essential Requirements
* Registered Nurse (NMC)
* Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
* Commitment to continuous professional development
* Ability to work across both sites
Desirable Skills
* Experience working in primary care / general practice
* Experience with SystmOne
* Experience in chronic disease management clinics
