About Us
We are a team of experienced veterinary professionals, including one senior vet, 2 RVNs, 3 SVNs, 2 VCAs and 4 receptionists. Our practice is based in Reading, close to the Brunel Retail Park, with easy access via the M4 and plenty of on‑site parking.
Role and Responsibilities
This full‑time position (40 hours a week, Monday–Friday 09:00–19:00 with a 1 hour lunch break, plus 1 in 4 Saturdays 09:00–18:00) focuses on first‑opinion small animal care and a wide range of surgical procedures, including orthopaedic, laparoscopic and routine daysurgery.
Key duties include:
* Deliver high‑quality clinical and surgical care to cats, dogs, rabbits and small furries.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with patients and clients.
* Collaborate with team members and support practice meetings and clinical reviews.
Qualifications
• Registered veterinarian (MRCVS) with experience in general practice and small‑animal surgery. • Excellent clinical and surgical skills, with a broad general‑practice skill set. • Strong communication and team‑working abilities.
