Youll work closely with eleven individuals in their own homes, supporting them to have fulfilling lives. This role is ideal for a passionate PBS practitioner who values the chance to have a long-term impact by working with colleagues to develop their practice over time. There will be opportunities for development in specific areas of interest such as active support and trauma-informed practice. This role is especially suited to those working towards their UKSBA competencies. We are looking for an experienced PBS Practitioner who can deliver compassionate, evidence-based support. Duties will include: - Conducting functional behaviour assessments and analysing data to develop and implement PBS strategies - Supporting individuals at risk of exclusion or hospital admission through tailored support - Ensuring all assessments are person-centred and accurately reflect risks and needs - Helping to deliver systems which monitor progress and outcomes - Delivering training and coaching to build PBS capacity within a team - Working in partnership with individuals, families, and professionals About you To be a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner at Certitude, the following are essential: - Hold a relevant undergraduate or postgraduate qualification in Positive Behaviour Support, Behaviour Analysis, Autism, Learning Disability, or Psychology - An understanding of the needs of people with learning disabilities and autism including those with complex health needs, additional mental health needs and complex support needs - Experience of using functional behaviour assessments and developing PBS strategies - Experience of using data analysis to design and develop behaviour support plans, strategies and monitoring improvements in quality of life in collaboration with support teams and families - Experience of developing strong relationships with individuals and families built on trust and respect About the Organisation We have a passion for life and make it our mission to support people in living the life they desire, whatever that may be.
