Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and physically fit rail port operative to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with materials handling, loading and unloading goods, and maintaining a safe and organised port environment.
The role is outdoors, in ALL weather conditions.
This is a temporary to permanent position for the right candidate with a lot of career progression.
Working hours - 3 week rota
* 06:00-14:00 - £15.45
* 14:00-22:00 - £15.45
* 22:00-06:00 - £16.70
PLEASE Note - an enhanced DBS check is required for this position!
Responsibilities
* Assist with the movement and positioning of trailers within the port yard.
* Clean containers, train carriages.
* Ensure the yard port is maintained in a safe, clean, and organised condition at all times
* Loading/unloading/heavy lifting
* Work in all weather conditions
