Your Role – Mechanical Inspector As part of the Quality Assurance team, you’ll ensure that every product meets the highest aerospace standards. You’ll use your mechanical know-how and keen eye for detail to perform dimensional and visual inspections, maintain precision measuring tools, and help drive continuous quality improvement. What You’ll Be Doing: Inspect and verify components to detailed engineering drawings and specifications. Use precision tools such as micrometers, vernier callipers, height gauges, and dial indicators. Operate CMM equipment (ability to create CMM programs is a big plus!). Complete Dimensional FAIRs and AS9102 Form 3s. Calibrate and maintain inspection instruments and records. Work closely with production and quality teams to ensure full compliance and consistency. Identify and report quality issues, driving corrective actions where needed. What We’re Looking For: Qualification in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent experience). Previous experience in a quality or inspection role, ideally in aerospace or precision manufacturing. Strong understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality. Confident communicator with a proactive, problem-solving mindset. Team player who thrives under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
