Overview :
We are offering an exciting locum opportunity for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) in Wolverhampton. This ongoing role provides the chance to work with a multidisciplinary team in a 17-bed PICU ward. Key Responsibilities :
Assessments and interventions : Provide expert occupational therapy assessments and interventions for paediatric patients in intensive care .
Multidisciplinary collaboration : Work closely with the healthcare team to create and implement individualised care plans for patients.
Supervision and development : Mentor and supervise Band 5 Occupational Therapists, promoting their growth and development within the team.

Documentation : Ensure that all patient care and progress are accurately documented and updated in a timely manner.
Essential Requirements :
HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
