Supply Hive are supporting a special primary school in Slough that caters for children with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) difficulties. The school provides a nurturing, child-centred environment with small classes, supporting pupils to build confidence, manage emotions, and engage positively with learning. The school also offers targeted support for students at risk of exclusion, using a range of tailored programmes to help children achieve their full potential and feel safe, valued, and supported. Responsibilities Supporting pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs on a 1:1 basis or in small groups Assisting with emotional regulation, behaviour support, and personal care where required Supporting learning activities tailored to individual EHCP outcomes Working closely with teachers and other professionals to deliver consistent, structured support Helping to create a calm, nurturing, and predictable environment Requirements Experience working with children with SEMH or challenging behaviour (school, care, or similar setting) Calm, patient, and resilient approach Ability to support positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing Reliable, proactive, and able to work as part of a wider team Right to Work in the UK At Supply Hive, safeguarding is a top priority.
