We are seeking an experienced and driven Global Sales & Distribution Manager to join this dynamic business and take ownership of international commercial activity. This role will play a key part in driving global sales performance, strengthening distributor relationships, and increasing market share across a diverse portfolio of precision-engineered valve products. The Role This is a strategically important role, reporting directly to the Managing Director. You will be responsible for developing and managing international distributor networks, overseeing sales growth across multiple territories, and promoting product inclusion in major end-user specifications. Key Responsibilities * Drive international sales across several engineered product lines. * Identify, appoint, and manage a global network of distributors against defined commercial targets. * Develop strong, long-term customer relationships to support sales and brand presence. * Lead global business development activity across multiple product divisions. * Manage and maintain a comprehensive list of vendor approvals to ensure inclusion in client specifications. * Represent the business at relevant international trade shows and industry events. Candidate Profile We’re looking for a technically competent, commercially focused professional with a background in mechanical engineering and experience in global sales and distribution. Essential: * Proven track record in sales and marketing within an engineering or technical product environment. * Experience managing distributors internationally. * Strong interpersonal skills and cultural awareness, with the ability to build lasting relationships across borders. * Mechanical engineering background – HNC or equivalent, ideally supported by an apprenticeship. * Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required. Desirable: * Previous experience in the valve or process equipment industries. * Exposure to the oil & gas, energy, or petrochemical markets.
