The Vacancy
Are you passionate about delivering exceptional palliative care and supporting patients and families when they need it most?
Dougie Mac is looking for a skilled and compassionate Adviceline and Rapid Response Practitioner to join our Community Hub team.
About the Role
* Provide specialist palliative advice and guidance to patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
* Work within our Advice Line and Rapid Response Service, delivering urgent support to help manage complex symptoms, psychological, spiritual, and social needs.
* Collaborate with colleagues across hospice and community services to reduce unnecessary hospital admissions and honour patients' care preferences.
* Develop professionally with structured training, supervision, and funded opportunities for further qualifications.
What We're Looking For
* Registered Nurse or HCPC-registered Practitioner with at least 3 years post-registration experience.
* Strong knowledge of palliative care and the ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence to provide clinical leadership.
* Flexibility to work shifts as part of our 24/7 responsive service.
* A valid driving licence and access to a suitable vehicle.

Hours: hours a week (Over 7 days a week. 7am – midnight, mixed shifts)
