Distinct is working with a large, successful business based in Leeds with a global footprint, that is continuing to grow internationally. They are looking to recruit a Group Financial Accountant to join it’s growing group finance team.This role is suited to a technically strong, part-qualified accountant ideally from a practice background.You’ll be joining a collaborative and dynamic team in a fast-paced group function. The environment suits someone who wants responsibility, clear development, and exposure to varied work.The role:
* This role will involve the delivery of group reporting, which will include:
* Preparing annual statutory and group accounts.
* Responsible for consolidating P&L and balance sheets.
* Assist with the preparation of annual statutory group consolidations.
* Assist with statuatory and management accounts reconciliations
* Review integrity of balance sheet in line with group policies.
* Contribute to delivery of the year-end audit.
* Support ad-hoc month end procedures
* Driving process improvement and supporting group finance projects.
What they’re looking for:
* Part qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA).
* Exposure to large, complex international organisations would be desirable.
* Comfortable working with Excel and accounting systems.
