Job Description
We are seeking an organised and proactive Legal Secretary to join a busy Conveyancing Department. The successful candidate will provide essential administrative and secretarial support to fee earners, ensuring the smooth progression of residential and commercial property transactions.
Role Responsibilities
* Preparing and formatting legal documents, correspondence and forms
* Managing diaries, scheduling appointments and arranging meetings
* Handling telephone calls, emails and client queries professionally
* Opening, maintaining and closing client files in compliance with internal procedures
* Preparing completion statements and other conveyancing documentation
* Maintaining accurate filing systems
* Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other parties
* Providing general administrative support to the conveyancing team
Candidate Requirements
* Confidence in dealing with members of the public
* Organisational skills
* Computer literacy (Training on CRM system will be provided)
