Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate Chef to join our team. You can be either part-time or full-time. We are very flexible. The ideal candidate will have a deep appreciation for traditional pizza-making techniques, as well as the creativity to innovate and present exciting new variations. As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking our signature pizzas, starters, sides and desserts whilst maintaining kitchen inventory, and ensuring the cleanliness of the kitchen area.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and cook meals according to our standard recipes, as well as custom orders.
* Manage pizza preparation processes, from dough making, and dough stretching to toppings and cooking.
* Work closely with the kitchen team to develop new and exciting meal recipes and menu items.
* Ensure all ingredients and food items are stored properly to maintain freshness and comply with food safety standards.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
* Train and mentor others on best pizza-making practices.
* Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs to the kitchen manager
* Participate in food cost management and waste reduction strategies.
Qualifications:
* Passions in pizza making or cooking
* Experience in a similar role in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
* A strong understanding of food hygiene and safety standards.
* Creativity and the ability to develop innovative pizza recipes.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure.
* A passion for food and providing exceptional customer experiences.
