You will join an established team, supporting the clinical service units and working closely with many of the Trusts corporate teams.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will support the Safe and Effective Care Leads, and clinical service units, with access to accurate and reliable clinical quality and effectiveness management information to assist the drive of the delivery of improved clinical standards and enhanced patient experience.
You will assist with action planning and evidence to support clinical quality management, patient safety, patient experience and clinical effectiveness across Clinical Service Units to drive improvement in clinical outcomes and patient experience.
You will assist in raising awareness of the need to ensure compliance with current national and local policies and audits and regulatory requirements relating to clinical quality performance.
The post holder will assist in the co-ordination within the clinical service units to assure on-going compliance with regulatory bodies related to quality of care, clinical governance, and clinical effectiveness, CQC, NHSE/I, CCG.
Undertaking this role will be both rewarding and challenging, requiring excellent analytical, interpersonal, and self-motivation skills, with the ability to work effectively with a range of colleagues in a variety of settings. You will have unrivalled drive, energy, and determination.

Knowledge and skills
Essential criteria
1. Knowledge of NHS Constitution
2. Trust vision, values and strategic objectives
3. Good IT skills; Ability to use Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and email
4. Working knowledge of patient safety incidents and complaints
5. Working knowledge of Information Governance, Confidentiality and Data protection
6. Demonstrable problem solving planning and organisational skills
Desirable criteria
7. Able to use DATIX database and Camis patient administration system.
Qualifications and Training
Essential criteria
8. GCSE in Maths and English (A-C/4-9) or Functional Skills (level 2)
9. Knowledge of secretarial and administrative procedures and systems, the majority of which are non-routine, acquired through training and experience to Vocational Level 3 or equivalent; plus knowledge of specialist functional/medical/legal terms, organisational policies and procedures and knowledge and experience to deal with non-routine issues such as problem solving for an area of work or developing alternative or additional procedures.
