As a Senior Radiographer at our hospital, you’ll have a BSc degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent), be registered with the HCPC, have a postgraduate qualification and high levels of technical knowledge. Ideally, you’ll also have Radiation Protection Supervisor training and qualification, and the ability to work accurately and compassionately.
Responsibilities
* See each patient as an individual and offer understanding and empathy.
* Deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service for a varied caseload – in the department, on the ward and in theatre.
* Work with leading practitioners and cutting‑edge practices, equipment and facilities.
* Carry out scoping to develop policies and procedures.
* Supervise and develop junior colleagues.
* Ensure a service of the highest quality is delivered with sensitivity and compassion.
Working on the bank
You are not contracted to a set number of hours per week, but instead work on an ad‑hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.
