An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Elective Orthopaedics Specialty, for a full-time, permanent, Band 6 Service Manager.
We are looking for a pro‑active, dynamic, experienced manager with excellent communication, organisational, administrative, waiting list and staff management skills with a proven track record of working in a demanding and fast paced environment.
Responsibilities
* The postholder will be responsible for ensuring effective operational and strategic planning, development and management of the Elective Orthopaedics surgical services to ensure compliance with national waiting time targets.
* The postholder will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of Divisional Managers, Consultants, Nurses and Admin Teams to ensure the effective delivery of Trust, Directorate and Team objectives.
