Role at a Glance
Supply Chain Officer. Reporting to: Managing Director EUROPE & UK. This role is at the heart of a $1billion revenue, purpose-driven business that supplies major consumer brands with sustainable organic products. You will oversee end-to-end operations to ensure products reach customers efficiently and sustainably.
You will manage production, export, import, storage, and distribution, ensuring coordination across all stages from order to delivery while driving efficiency, quality control, compliance, and sustainability improvements. You will monitor stock levels, track shipments, maintain records, and generate audit-ready reports. You will also handle legal documents such as bills of lading, invoices, and quality certificates, and support clients with technical requests. Building strong relationships with suppliers, distributors, and internal teams is key. A problem-solving, collaborative approach will help identify challenges and deliver effective solutions.
Responsibilities
* Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations: production, export, import, storage, distribution
* Maintain efficiency, quality control, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives
* Monitor stock levels, track shipments, maintain meticulous records, and generate audit-ready reports
* Navigate legal documents (BLs, invoices, quality certificates) and support client technical requests
* Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, distributors, and internal teams
* Drive problem-solving and collaborative solutions to keep operations efficient
Qualifications / Background
* Proven experience with imports and distribution (export knowledge useful)
* Strong work ethic with a focus on delivering customer delight
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Proactive and able to work independently
* Effective written and verbal communication skills
* Confident in building relationships at all levels
* Excellent computer skills (MS Excel, spreadsheets, databases, and other IT programs)
* Excellent attention to detail
* Calm under pressure and able to make quick decisions
* Impeccable English; second language helpful (Spanish preferred, Chinese bonus)
