Nirvana are a fast growth business who's ideal candidate will be someone looking to kick on with their career and join a company with great progression opportunities. A great work ethic and passionate team player is a must.

Daily tasks include (but not limited to):

Sales and Purchase Ledger bookkeeping

Updating daily allocations tracker with the detail for payments received and passing this information onto Factoring company and allocating/reconciling payments in Xero.

Uploading approved sales invoices to client online portals where relevant

Credit Control – taking full responsibility, sending statements and following up with chaser phone calls. Escalating any issues to Operations Director where operational issues preventing payment. Escalating any funding issues to Finance Director.

Processing remittance advices and updating our credit control spreadsheet

Checking Supplier and Sub Contractor invoices against the Pos that we have issued along with other various internal checks. Ensuring Sub Contractor invoices meet CIS and Reverse Charge VAT compliance.

Carry out verifications with HMRC for new sub contractors and setting up in Xero.

Downloading, checking and processing supplier invoices from online accounts.

Forwarding all checked and correct supplier invoices to hubdoc

Reconciling credit card statements with receipts received to ensure none are missing

Managing Penalty Charge Notices received

Pleo accounts management – our operatives have pre paid cards for small business expenses and each user account needs to be checked to ensure receipts are uploaded after each transaction and that each user has sufficient funds on their cards.

Return of Materials – Pull a weekly report from BigChange to ensure that returned materials have been refunded or credited and close down once complete.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From £30,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

* Sevenoaks, TN13 1NY: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
