Overview
Help us build trust in our data and drive smarter, more transparent, evidence-based decisions across the Council. As the Council's first CRM Data Steward, you'll shape how we manage, govern and use data to better serve our residents, owning CRM data standards and ensuring accurate, high-quality information.
Working Style
This hybrid role is based in the Borough 60% of the week, collaborating across services to improve how data supports residents and community outcomes.
Responsibilities
* Act as authority on CRM data quality and compliance, maintaining the integrity of high-volume resident and service datasets.
* Design and deliver training, guidance and practical support to embed consistent, ethical, transparent data practices.
* Lead data analysis and quality assurance, producing insightful reports that help senior leaders make evidence-based decisions.
* Define and enforce CRM data standards, oversee compliance checks and audits, and work closely with Digital Development and Technology (DD&T) team to design automated data-quality and validation processes.
* Collaborate on CRM enhancements such as data cleansing tools and Power BI dashboards to improve decision-making and residents’ digital experience through the MyRBKC portal.
Qualifications
* Analytical and technically skilled professional with proven experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 administration.
* Advanced proficiency in SQL and Power BI, and ability to manage large, complex datasets.
* Solid understanding of database design, system architecture, data models, GDPR, data protection and corporate governance.
* Strong communication and influencing skills to translate complex analysis into clear, actionable insights.
* Collaboration mindset, building trust and guiding colleagues at all levels in better data practices.

We are committed to fair, transparent, and consistent pay practices. New hires start at the minimum of the advertised salary range. Employees receive annual salary increases until they reach the top of the pay scale and any agreed cost of living pay rises.
