Contracts Manager - Newtownabbey

Gentech Recruitment is partnering with a client in Newtownabbey to recruit a Contracts Manager. The successful candidate will work with an established project management team and in-house M&E design team utilizing Revit, AutoCAD, and MEP 3D design packages.
Responsibilities
1. Manage and develop project delivery teams to ensure timely project completion.
2. Maintain regular communication with clients through online and face-to-face meetings, including on-site discussions.
3. Ensure efficiency of managers and site teams, setting and achieving high-level objectives within target dates.
4. Verify that project value, drawings, specifications, and orders are approved before work begins.
5. Coordinate with project teams to ensure templates and setout plans are prepared for construction.
6. Procure plant and equipment according to specifications and client requirements.
7. Forecast project expenditures and communicate projections to relevant teams.
8. Assess labor and subcontractor needs for installation work and team expansion.
9. Assist in preparing and evaluating monthly applications and claims with the commercial team.
10. Provide accurate contract variation information and support monthly valuations.
11. Participate in monthly performance reviews with the Operations Manager.
12. Support the preparation of O&M manuals and ensure all project documentation is complete.
13. Track project performance weekly through progress reports to clients.
14. Work with the Operations Manager to forecast resource requirements.
Requirements
* Previous management experience in a similar role.
* Ownership of duties with a willingness to learn and grow.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
* Punctuality, reliability, and trustworthiness.
* Management experience on projects valued between £3m and £10m.
