Remote Commercial Account Manager – Food & Drink Ingredients
Remote UK | Head Office: Oxfordshire | £50,000 – £60,000 + Bonus + Company Car

We’re working with a well-established, highly reputable food ingredients supplier on a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Commercial Account Manager to join their growing team.
This is a remote-first role open to candidates across the UK, with regular UK travel to meet customers, supplier visits in Ireland and Portugal, monthly head office meetings in Oxfordshire, and attendance at up to one networking or industry event per month.
The successful candidate will join a tight-knit commercial team of four working under a manager who leads with clarity, kindness, and a passion for food—and who values collaboration, energy, and great communication.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Manage and grow existing customer accounts, focusing on upselling new and seasonal products
Identify and secure new accounts
Build long-term relationships across a diverse B2B customer base in food manufacturing and food service
Attend regular in-person meetings with clients across the UK
Travel overseas to Ireland and Portugal to meet with suppliers
Negotiate and maintain commercial contracts, ensuring compliance and margin control
Work with internal teams (Technical, Logistics, Customer Service) to deliver outstanding customer service
Monitor product performance, stock levels, and margins to drive profitability
Attend up to one industry event per month to build networks and stay on top of trends
Join monthly / quarterly meetings in Banbury to align with the wider commercial strategy
About You:
Essential: Proven experience within the food and drink ingredients sector
Comfortable travelling across the UK and occasional overseas travel
A skilled communicator who can build rapport at all levels
Commercially aware with strong margin and data analysis capabilities
Organised, self-motivated, and proactive in managing your portfolio
Passionate about food and ingredients
Collaborative, upbeat, and a positive team player
