Electrician Maintenance
Location: Radlett Hospital, WD7 9QT - Hertfordshire
Salary: £40,000 per annum + plenty of overtime available
This is permanent position
We are looking for a qualified and reliable Maintenance Electrician to join the facilities team at Radlett Hospital. This role plays a vital part in maintaining safe and efficient electrical systems within a healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical works
* Fault finding and repair of electrical systems across the hospital
* Maintain lighting, power, emergency lighting, and associated systems
* Ensure all works comply with current electrical regulations and health & safety standards
* Complete maintenance records and documentation accurately
* Work alongside estates teams, contractors, and hospital staff
* Participate in on-call or shift rotas where required
Essential Requirements
* City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
* Proven experience in an electrical maintenance or facilities role
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good understanding of health & safety procedures
Desirable
* Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare environment
* Full UK driving licence
