About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant / Sports Coach, you will work closely with teachers and students across various schools in Essex, providing support both academically and through sports-based activities. Your role will be to encourage student engagement, promote physical well-being, and help create a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting the classroom teacher with lesson delivery and student supervision
* Assisting students with their learning, particularly in PE and sports-related activities
* Organizing and coaching sports sessions and extracurricular activities
* Encouraging teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence among students
* Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teachers
* Promoting a safe and inclusive environment for all students
What We re Looking For:
* Previous experience working with children or young people (preferred)
* A passion for sports and physical education
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Reliable, proactive, and enthusiastic attitude
* Ability to adapt to different school environments and age groups
* Relevant sports coaching qualifications or experience are desirable
