About the role and team:
The Early Years Sufficiency and Business Support team ensures high-quality, sustainable childcare across Gloucestershire's maintained, private, voluntary, and independent sectors.
The role supports the Early Years Sufficiency & Business Manager by:
* Gathering and collating data and reports for various purposes
* Reporting to DFE weekly and termly
* Monitoring 2-year funding eligibility and uptake
* Monitoring and reporting Ofsted information
* Supporting place planning and 106 contributions
* Responding to situations with timely information
* Managing provider data and portal accounts
* Supporting annual monitoring and provider communications
* Assisting with nursery funding payments and other duties as required
Annual targets will be set and reviewed regularly.
About You:
You should have excellent organisational skills, a customer-focused approach, and strong data analysis abilities to ensure accurate and timely administrative outputs.
Education & Qualifications:
* Good literacy and numeracy skills, equivalent to Grade C or above in English and Maths
* Professional qualification such as BTEC National/NVQ3 in Business Administration or Finance
