Job Purpose
To lead and deliver high-quality, person-centred care and support to individuals in their own homes, promoting dignity, independence, and emotional wellbeing. The role includes overseeing and providing support with daily living activities, coordinating and monitoring health needs, and ensuring care is delivered safely within a comfortable and supportive home environment.

Key Responsibilities
1. Personal Care: Assist with personal care and promote client independence.
2. Daily Living Support: Support with meals, mobility, and household tasks as outlined in the care plan.
3. Medication Support: Administer or support medication and maintain records
4. Emotional & Social Support: Offer companionship, emotional support, and encourage clients social and recreational engagement.
5. Record-Keeping & Reporting: Maintain care records, report health changes promptly, and adhere to organisational policies and safeguarding standards.
6. Professional Conduct: Demonstrate professionalism and respect, uphold data protection, and participate in ongoing training. Attend mandatory training and participate in professional development.
7. Quality Assurance: Spot Checks, Audits, Incident Management and Learning. Be able to write and review effectively care plans and risk assessments. Report to the RM/Care Co-Ordinator on any aspects of service user care which warrants urgent action.
Essential requirements
• DBS clearance required.
• No prior experience required full training will be provided.
• Candidates must have a full UK driving licence and reliable vehicle access.
• Must be flexible to cover different shifts, including evenings and weekends
